Region 5

Representing Alameda and Contra Costa Counties
California State Horsemen's Association (CSHA) was incorporated in 1942 to
serve the horse community of California by providing a unified front to address
equestrian related issues.

Region 5, which encompasses Alameda and Contra Costa Counties in the Bay
Area, is one of 19 regions throughout the state.  

CSHA offers:
  • trail advocacy
  • youth programs
  • educational opportunities
  • amateur competitive programs

General Meeting at 7:00 p.m.
Region Officer Nominations and Elections will be held at this meeting!
Club representatives as well as Individual members should plan to attend and
cast their vote for the Region 5 President and Vice Presidents positions.
Clubs must be represented by their President or a Representative.
Representatives
MUST have a letter signed by the club President authorizing
them to vote in their place.

Anyone interested in these positions is welcome to submit a Letter of Intent with
a brief resume of  their involvement in CSHA and/or Region 5. Send those to

Per CSHA Bylaws, Article IX, Section 4, 4.2.1:
Nominees must be a member in good standing for two (2) years immediately
preceding the Region election.

We have a strong Region and high level of participation in our programs so we
want to work together to promote planning and support of equine activities for
everyone.
